Here's this weeks update on the fundraising, looks like we have been booted out of the top 10 teams. So it might be time to start planning some functions!
Here's some ideas floating around:
* Franko Bingo
* Barefoot lawn bowls
* Oktoberfest
* Beer or Wine/Cheese appreciation night
* High Tea's
* Cinema hire
* Cadbury Choc drives
* Online auctions from donations
Please don't forget to ask for company sponsorships to get their logos on our 2014 kits, the person/company who donates the most gets the biggest/best spot on our gear.
We do need to make sure that we can make the number by ourselves, Dawn's team is pretty big this year and I know that she is flat out helping them out. She is trying to book us a shopping centre before the event, however we can't sit around hoping/waiting for more.
If you have any ideas to bring in the dosh, I am happy to fire up the photoshop and pump out the posters/post/cases/covers/mugs/stickers...etc, etc.
So, I would like everyone to make a plan or even try and and hold one event each before the ride if you can. If that's not that easy then pair up, grab a MAMIL and come up with a plan.
